BUYER agrees to take this dog to a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 4 working days from pick up for a physical examination. If the puppy is determined to be in terminal health or otherwise unfit for sale, BUYER must notify SELLER and provide SELLER the contact information for the licensed veterinarian who made the determination and all records relating to the determination within 48 hours of the determination. BUYER understands and agrees that failure to comply with this provision voids any health guarantee provided under this Agreement or otherwise. Proof must be submitted to SELLER that puppy has been examined within the time specified (4 working days from pick up.)

BUYER understands that there is no guarantee or promise that the puppy will be non-shedding and/or hypoallergenic. Of course, that is our desire and we try to breed for this quality, but there is always a possibility that a dog may shed. Sometimes a person is allergic to the dog’s saliva or to some environmental trigger, if so; a Goldendoodle may still trigger allergies.

OWNERSHIP AND TRAINING

BUYER understands that owning a dog is a life-long commitment and agrees to provide appropriate shelter, proper and timely medical attention, proper grooming, and responsible care. This includes, but is not limited to, keeping puppy/dog parasite free, up to date with inoculations, proper nutrition, and fresh water available always.

BUYER understands that puppies may exhibit certain undesirable behaviors such as: nipping, chewing, barking, marking, etc.

BUYER will educate themselves on how to properly train their new puppy and agrees to not use the “no-touch method” nor other negative training method.

Should BUYER not be successful at training these behaviors on their own, BUYER agrees to seek professional help from certified trainers. Ruff Tide Doodles are typically affectionate and friendly and we would not knowingly place a puppy with an unsound temperament with any family. However, no one can guarantee the future temperament of a dog due to environmental influences, improper training or socialization, neglect or abuse. Therefore, Ruff Tide Doodles does not warrant such.

New owners will not enroll the puppy in obedience training classes until all immunizations are completed which is usually between 16-20 weeks of age.

If at any time the BUYER can no longer retain possession of this dog, BUYER must contact the SELLER immediately and be given first right of refusal, at no charge except for applicable transport costs. If the SELLER cannot take back possession of the dog, the BUYER agrees to collaborate with the SELLER and only rehome the dog to a home approved by the SELLER. Under no circumstances will this dog be sold, leased, traded or given away to any pet shop, research laboratory, animal shelter or similar facility.

If you are not comfortable  with the “no fee” option, then you must choose another payment option to send your deposit.  No personal checks will be accepted.

If the SELLER cannot fulfill a puppy reservation, they will refund the deposit, or the BUYER may choose to transfer the deposit onto a future litter.
